Sanding

Dustless Hardwood Floor Refinishing requires large powerful vacuums to contain the dust from the sanding.  There are always limitations to the effectiveness of any piece of equipment.  When the floor is very uneven or when we are doing stairs, some dust does leak out with the small sanders because they have to be tilted to even out areas or remove finish.  What you can expect to see is a very light film of dust, as if you would have left the windows open for a week.

The dustless hardwood floor sanding takes about 1 - 2 full days depending on the size and complexity of the project.  During this process we are trying to remove old finish, surface damages and level the floor.
