Standard Stain
Standard stains come in (a variety) about 35 colors. Most of the stains are a variety of browns, with variations in hue from reds to golds.
Process to lay a great stain requires a lot of preparatory sanding for the floor. Normally a stain job will add an extra day or two to a normal 3 or 4 day process. Of course the larger the job the longer the process. Some available colors are presented.
Stained steps without sanding
The original pic shows a staircase that was finished. The treads were made of a thin veneered oak over mdf. We could not risk sanding these steps as we would easily punch through the veneer. We added stain and coated the step with a wb process.
